They established a culture of meta-irony shitposting and time wasting, after initial outside investment the culture grew to be self sustaining and the glowies could stop. So now the catalogue is just filled with organic shit, people thinking they're in on the joke but they're in fact the useful idiots.
They virtue signaled and artificially boosted what are essentially q-tards and plan-trusters. Given the inherently small nature of 4chan a little bot-boosting encouraged non-critical-thinking schizos to ramble on and to support others like themselves. Where natural bullying and critical thinking would usually drown them out, there was now a massive artificial network established to keep them afloat, eventually "rational" schizos stopped engaging and left.
They also banned organic posters that would gather a lot of attention and you's and who would have their talking points propagated throughout - if it went against the narrative the glowies were trying to construct. 4chan expressly allows fingerprinting to the degree that even changing IP doesn't matter, any useful opsec to obscure fingerprinting to evade false bans would mean you couldn't post.
To counter this counter you have to be concise and know your audience, don't talk to useful idiots, don't talk to non-whites. Craft your small messages such that your target audience (straight white men) can from within themselves synthesize an understanding that mimics your own and happen upon organic ideas that mirror your own.
