Shit like this is why I kinda roll my eyes when people talk about humans as if we're the most violent, awful species on Earth.

There is no compassion in nature, animals are capable of great cruelty without thinking twice about it. If an animal has a problem with another animal they usually have no problem violently destroying that other animal.

As awful as humanity can be we're also capable of kindness and compassion on levels no simple animal can ever hope to manage.
