That's all well and good and I'm gonna continue marching forward and attempt to be a good person but "everything is going to be fine" is a hollow, irresponsible promise to make.

Statistically it's entirely possible that some people will just lead miserable, awful lives. If you wanna inspire people inspire them to have the strength to get through the bullshit, not promise them "happily ever after" storybook nonsense.
