An unfortunate serie of very indian situations
>be me
>Professor in private University
>Asked to coordinate a Master's Neurosurgery Programme
>Mostly because i primarily work with International Students in my own Course
>By International i mean EU and US only
>Figured it's paid so whatever
>Job Is easy: give info to aspiring applicants, review legal docs, forward to medical staff, make them pay.
>12 students maximum
>FFW to second week
>Receive mail from "english neurosurgeon working in India"
>No degree attached, no documents, just a stock model CV without photo and a request to get a VISA
>Tell the man the documentation i need for enrollment
>Noresponse.mail
>The day after another mail arrives from a brown looking address
>"Esteemed Sir, i am a French Neurosurgeon currently working in India"
>There's even the same CV with a different name crudely photoshopped over
>It's a bloody copypaste of the one i've received before
>Copypaste my response, asking for certifications, still no answer
>Third day, third mail
>"Esteemed Sir, i am an American Neurosurgeon currently working in India"
>I've received at this point close to 50 mails, each from a different brown looking address, asking the same question:
How can i get a VISA for your country before i pay the 8k tuition fee? I am in India right now but i'm actually from *insert civilised country*
>Today receive another mail from the latest shit smelling account
>This time no nationality is included, just "working in India"
>WTF
>Decide for a daring manuvre
>Don't ask for certifications this time, tell the man he's in, no payment, no certifications, no shit
>Send him the link to the enrollment online form
>The website will kick him out without and EU VPN
>The process will also ask for EU digital identification and block further attempt, if such identification fails
>No more than 20 minutes later
>I've received some new e-mails
>Pic related
