People laugh at Americans for having so many school shootings, but I think the schizos who say that it's a government psyop to take our guns away might have a point, because it would be a lot harder for the average citizen to organize into a force that is actually capable of suppressing government violence against its citizens if they didn't have any guns. Da gubmint is afraid of what the average citizen can do with a firearm to enforce political change in a particular direction, and yes that is a dangerous prospect because such violence could be used for evil deeds or morally dubious outcomes, but it's like they say:

Take ICE, for example: They're out there raiding Walmart parking lots and shipping random brown people, some of which are no doubt actual American citizens, off to some concentration camps somewhere to be indefinitely detained, and they can do this with impunity because Trump is a retard, and what do the American people do? Yes, they're out there protesting but it's tepid and ineffectual in the end, because the moment shit gets out of hand, they send homeland security up our asses and we're suppressed. Is the chimping out getting a little too hot to handle? Send in the troops and start with rubber bullets at first, but if they keep shit up we're cracking some skulls for real, and what red-blooded American doesn't love spilling the blood of his countryman on his own soil?
How do the people fight back against that kind of tyranny, without being able to defend themselves, or better yet, use violence in their favor to enforce social and political change?
