I have an autistic son and I am slowly starting to hate him. Every single day it is just meltdown after meltdown and there is no stopping it.

There is no avoiding the screaming on the floor meltdown. You can only delay it by giving in to his demands, but his demands will only get more ridiculous until as a parent I have to say no.

Now I understand why NEETs have parents who hate him. You are incapable of seeing things from the other person's perspective. You don't see the thousands of hours your parents have desperately tried to help you only for you to be a childish impossible to deal with nightmare.

I'd look around and see what's available. You could try to be an apprentice of some kind and then work towards a passion.

You could start as a metalworking apprentice and then move into scrap metal art. There's a lot of people online who sell scrap metal sculptures for a fuck load of dosh

I think my Dad has Aspergers and grew up around it. He and my Mom argued a lot. I was finally able to move out at 31 and have been on my own the past 5 years. My life still hasn't started yet in some ways but the peace I've felt every day from solitude is probably more comforting than it should be.
