Yes, but then you learn the hard way that most (not all) women are terrible to go /out/ with, and they don't really want to go /out/. And then you go back to going /out/ with your good friends or by yourself.

i have like, 6 dudes who i go camping with regularly, 2 of which who actually enjoy /out/ more than just grilling sausages and sleeping in a tent.

I have never fucked a girl I met hiking, but I have gotten some numbers and gone on subsequent hikes/hangouts. If I wasn't unemployed and living with my mom I might have better luck.
Overall it's a good way to casually be around women if you frequent some of the more popular trails. This is written from the perspective of someone hiking around an hour outside of a major U.S. city in a park accessible by public transit. Your experience may vary.

god I know this feel. Cute girls flirt with me a decent amount and I just blow them off because it'd all come crashing down the moment they found out my room was across the hallway from my parents. Sucks too, I'm getting way more interest now than I did a few years ago when I had my own place in a different city with a much worse dating scene, and I'm gonna be stuck like this for a couple more years while I go back to school.

Sorta? It got me my wife, I guess. We were both Computer Science majors in college. I was the only guy at a bunch of CS Dept. functions and clubs that wanted to talk about gardening and hiking and climbing and travel instead of anime and video games. But we were both 4chan users, so that was cool, I guess.

If you go /out/ because you want to be a physically fit and well rounded person who has life experiences and isn't terminally online, then yea it'll help you "get chicks" - in the same way that being the opposite of those things will repel chicks. If you go out because you're a schizo Ted wannabe or maladjusted survivalist LARPer, maybe not so much. Go figure...

I've done a lot of /out/ stuff around women, and I've never met one who was serious about it who had tits that big. If I meet a women with huge tits who claims to like the outdoors, I automatically assume it's like RV camping and the occasional 2 hour day-hike. Having breasts like that is a massive impediment to taking on more serious /out/ activities. The unfair reality of it is, as fun as they are to look out, the physical dynamics of massive breasts are similar to or worse than being obese. You have this extra 35lbs you're trucking around, basically a full week-long backpack, except it's highly unevenly distributed, sensitive / uncomfortable, and sorta in-the-way for a lot of more dynamic activities.

Have you seen women who climb? They're all basically flat. Girls like OP's pic might go camping or do the occasional day hike, but that's about it.

I've gone on hikes with women (day hikes, 1-3 night trips), and while it hasn't gotten me laid or nothing, it's made for some pleasant moments.
As someone who looks like a troll and lives in the middle of nowhere, I really appreciate those moments, as I don't often get to interact with normal well-adjusted healthy women. Anyone like that moved away from here as soon as they could.
It is good to not be so lonely all the time.

Your issue is not that other guys have money, are jacked, are educated, work as a physician and you don't. If you did any of those you'd still be the same guy, (You) only that now you're forcing something you never naturally gravitated towards.
It's not like a rich loner didn't exist, or a gymbro who doesnt get laid, or a guy who goes out and is lonely still.
If you are unhappy fix that or the root cause. Do not fall for cargo cultism, where you observe someone else having skmething that you think would make you happy and so you end up immitating one super specific thing you observed about them.

Yeah. 100%. Going /out/ was what got my wife and I spending time together back in the day, and a fair number of the dates I went on before I met her were hiking or camping.

First time I got my dick sucked was in the "cabin" (aka pile of sticks and trash loosely lashed together into something vaguely capable of providing sufficient shelter for light rain on a warm day) me and my friends built in a national park back when were in primary school.

Honestly my only interest in /out/ is to learn more of the natural world and be self sufficient whereas my computer science is intended to let me be self sufficient in the digital world.

No. Women dont go /out/. The only ones that do are gross 40 year old moms, or gross 60 year old spinsters.

I have never seen an attractive female that camped alone, or any really that weren't already with a husband.

The vibes are weird and way off since lockdowns, it’s really weird and sad. Idk how to explain it, it’s very different, I was 25 when lockdowns started. 30 now, still like going out and doing things and socializing with friends and people. But it’s just way different and weird now, no actual connection or anything anymore. Lockdowns fucked so much up, nobody knows how to interact anymore
