The goal wasn't to ''stud up to him'; there is already a US led proxy war and thousands of sanctions, but the goal was to trick Putin in to signing some kind of a ceasefire.

Trump is an angry bully, egoistic and wants to appear stronger than everyone, while Putin is always calm, composed and relaxed with a friendly tone.

Cowards are scared of bullies, that's why everyone from Canada to Germany is kissing Trump's ass, while real leaders like XI, Modi and Putin don't.

>trick Putin in to signing some kind of a ceasefire.
Remember when Trump threatened "very severe consequences" if Putin didn't agree to a ceasefire?

Trump was told by Putin the war in Ukraine wouldn't have started under his presidency, when asked WHY Putin said this, and if Trump knew, Trump said he did know why, but he didn't wanna get into it, then he went on a Micro-Rant about Biden being a bad president.
Putin told Trump to get rid of Mail-in-Voting, and suddenly he's attacking it with vigor never seen before.
Whatever is happening, our President needs to stop getting involved in it.

Nobody on the right remembers anything Donald Trump says. If they did, they wouldn't have voted for him.
