According to some surveys almost 40% of men have had at least one sexual experience with another man... which is not "most" but it is definitely more than pop culture would suggest.

That doesn't make them "bisexual" though... that label is pretty loaded, implying equal attraction to both sexes. It also implies both romantic and sexual attraction, even though I suspect the vast majority of "not completely straight" guys just have occasional and highly-selective sexual-only attraction to other dudes, with no romantic component to it. There's not really any kind of broadly-accepted social label for this though, which is why researchers distinguish "gay", "bisexual", and "men who have sex with men" as separate categories.

Popular media would have you believe it's common and normal for girls to fool around with each other, without it being treated as serious or sexuality-defining. It really depends on how you define “bisexual.” I’ve seen the term thrown around for any kind of sexual activity, even if there was no romantic attraction, which is silly — you wouldn’t call a gay man who slept with a woman “straight.”
