To be honest I tried it once but pussied out right when this feeling of almost warm sleepiness came over me. CO2 in your bloodstream kicks in a panic response. Helium does not trigger it. No suffocating feeling, nothing. Just blackout if you are careless and stay in the mask for too long. I do not recommend, as there is no way to stop it and the window for total loss of conciousness is just a few seconds. You do not want that. You want to be able to stop the process if your survival instincts kick in and you decide to give life a chance. Most of the problems people trying to kill themself over, can be solved. Life is really long. You are throwing away 20-40-60 years of a possibly happy life because of a breakup or financial problems or attention or treatable psychological issues... It does not worth it. I also tried different methods, it is crazy that I am still alive and surprise surprise after 5 years I am a parent now with a wife and no urge to off myself.

Don't do it. Think about it for a few months. Get professional help.

This is my chosen method for the future. I might even do it at work, just to fuck with the company.
If someone wants to an hero, then their decision is made. It's their choice.
Maybe we can allocate methods into 2 categories:
Serious attempts
> Helium/exit bags, jumping off a tall structure, shotgun to the face, standing in front of a train.
Attention whoring methods
> Cutting wrists, popping pills, standing on a bridge and threatening to jump.
