Well I never had an actual error with mine, it just wasn't generating the transparency. However it sounds like that might be related to the wrong VAE being used. In the LayerDiffusion method make sure you're using (SDXL) Only Generate Transparent Image (Attention Injection) for and SDXL model or SD1.5 for and SD model.

also 4chan doesnt strip metadata from raw images? i use novelai and its novelai.net/inspect can retrieve the metadata from novelai gen images posted here
as long as its the raw output image and not a compressed jpg or something, it should have a prompt. even if its not novelai i can get prompts from stuff opening it in notepad.
its not 4chan stripping metadata, its if you have to compress the image. that rewrites the file completely which erases the metadata.

it will definitely be a while before it happens but im sure anything you upload images to, or even png-jpg compression programs, will keep such metadata intact. i mean hopefully. there's another good idea kek

people ask for catbox pngs when the image uploaded is a compressed jpg with the metadata its baked into the image encoding data itself.

honestly calling the prompt baked into an image "metadata" isnt 100% correct. metadata is stuff you'll see if you right click an image and hit "properties"
but AI bakes the prompt information literally into the image's encoding data
metadata is like an MP3 having Artist, Year, etc.

open a raw output gen in notepad and youll see the prompt there with the garbled image encoding data
heck you can even save this >>938719541 image and drop it into novelai.net/inspect. the metadata is intact.
