That map is shit. Southern California is generally used to describe everything south of the Los Padres National Forest, all of the LA Basin, the Inland Empire, San Diego County, the Imperial and Coachella Valleys, the rest of the Colorado desert, and the Southern Mojave Desert from the Antelope Valley to the Nevada border. It doesn't include any part of Kern County except maybe Edwards AFB and the Lebec area through the Grapevine.
The Southland is used to describe the LA Basin, Ventura and Oxnard, OC, Western Riverside County, and Southwest San Bernardino County below the Cajon Pass.
In no instance is Orange County or the Inland Empire considered separate from the rest of Southern California. And if the area truly "matters," you'd include all the hot middle class and rich sluts in OC way before you'd start asking for nudes of girls from Bakersfield, Ridgecrest, and Wasco. OP is a retard.
