Do we have to treat every homeless crackhead like an equal, or can we acknowledge the inherent differences between us? How about immigrants, the non-Christians? Are we required to support things like social safety nets for these downtrodden folk?

But what is the limit if it were to be taken literally? Should we feed every man, woman, and child on earth? Should we sacrifice our earthly goods to service those in need, even at detriment to ourselves? That's not exactly loving thy neighbor.
