It is interesting how things have changed. For a long time, physical labor was looked down upon because it was low paying. Go get a degree - be a thinker, not a stinker.
Then, after some point, all of the "highly educated' people didn't know how to do any physical labor and/or were too busy to do it. So now the ones who can install an AC, water heater, do body work on a car, plumber, electrician, etc are making really good money.
Unfortunately, people still look down on the ones doing the labor even though the ones doing the labor not only are making more money, but they also have the every-day skills so they can do their own work around their house and save themselves a lot of money.
