Look at the billions of years of Earths atmospheric composition. Notice that the green things, especially the trees were gobbling up too much CO2 and things were steadily going out of balance.

Gaia. Or mother Earth as you might have heard her called, had to devise a plan. That plan was humans. Humans who would cull the trees and burn everything they could in their incessant industrializations to make the things they want.

You were meant to be here. From the beginning.

A family of trees wanted to be haunted. Take only what you need from it. Learn to manage our resources but recognize that in all things there must be balance.

Ok so I have no proof of any God or Gaia theory. But look at the atmospheric CO2 levels that used to be over 9,000ppm just before the Carboniferous period. Note the CO2 levels go in one direction over millions of years. Down.

All the plants put CO2 into the ground. Sure the animals help to add atmospheric CO2 but they clearly werent doing enough.

Finally when the CO2 levels were nearing plant starvation levels of 350ppm or lower, humans showed up, evolved and industrialized.

Hurricanes are not getting stronger or more numerous. Tornadoes are not increasing. Polar bears are increasing year over year for the last 15 years. Record ice growth at both poles for years.

NOAA admits the increased CO2 is greening the earth. More plant food = more crops for critters and humans.

We are approaching the end of the holocene era. The end of the latest ice age. Ice ages are defined by whether the north and south poles are covered by ice. For some of Earths history there was not ice at the poles. Earth spends the majority of its time in such "Ice Ages." At some points in earths billions of years history most if not all of the Earth was covered in ice.

You live on planet Hoth. Be grateful we are inbetween ice ages as life would be very difficult otherwise.
