every so often I remember that time where you out of the blue posted that "I love vultures" gif in the middle of a thread full of a heated argument and it cracks me up every time

I left work a little early today. I'm gonna be going to sleep soon. This illness is kicking my butt.

I don't recall ever having an illness that grew worse on Day 3. The times that I've had COVID, the first day has been a bunch of coughing and the second day was the one where I was out of it.

This isn't as bad as that, but it isn't fun.

My symptoms are honestly more flu-like.

If it is COVID, it's the weakest bout I've had of it. And I'm pretty sure I had it back in March. (I can't be for certain because I didn't get tested. But it felt like COVID.)

Maybe tomorrow I can stop by the pharmacy and see if I can pick up a personal test.

there's a bunch of crows on my block. Some are solitary, some have partners, small gangs, and every once in a while you will see a murder of 100+.
Every morning I walk the dog and see them sitting on the power lines. I say hi to them and they look back in their quizzical way. I wouldn't say I'm friends with them, but they definitely know who I am.
