I can do 6 seconds of video in 6 to 10 minutes locally. Some very fast SSD storage for swap use could help on lower end GPU hardware too.

sounds like you just need the right model and probably need to train your own lora of the person for consistency. never trained a lora though, can't help with that.

either way, the rest of your prompt definitely helps consistency. I generally try to gen a character as close as possible with prompt alone, then add a lora after.

I've made some pretty decent videos, the problem is learning how to prompt them. And yeah 5 to 10 minutes between generations does make that process take longer. You need to be REALLY long winded and descriptive. LTXV has a workflow with a prompt enhancer included and thats how I learnt about that before I used WAN2.2 Lightning. You can use it to generate a base descriptive prompt for video from an image and edit it
