They get racialized by being involved in racial conflict (low level, like friction with other groups at school or etc., or high level, like being victimized by a member of another race) and then act on that racial awareness. I have a lot of respect for the two classic fascist leaders. Not that their decisions were always right or even applicable to today but I think Hitler's or Mussolini's opinion on a question carries weight. I think the truth of communism is that humans are supposed to really only grasp social formations of a certain size. If your community/family unit is 50 people you understand the interdependence and responsibilities among each other. You produce for those whose wellbeing in turn directly benefits you. If you ruin the food supply for others you are impacted. This would be the “commune,” though that word has shitty connotations. In Daniel Quinn’s Beyond Civilization he advocates not for communism but for a Communitarianism. Most political models of any size these days rely on people to comprehend consequences to their actions that they truly can’t comprehend. I don’t think everyone should start shitting in the woods and go barefoot, but it really seems like the issue is one of scale/scaling.

For the fascists, do you see the obligation that each person has in the state as serving the same communitarian function on the basis of like racial solidarity or something like that? It seems like a certain alignment of public intention is shared.

Communism is basically a communist government, which can be described as the leader and his mates, have total power and control over everything from food to fuel to housing, all infrastructure and all modes of transport, all utilities, everything. Literally everyone else in the country lives on rations equalling 10 cents a day, living on the edge of starving to death in the best case scenario.

But of course you imagine your role in a communist utopia as being one of the elites in control. I don't see you saying that you want to move to a communist country to become a starving peasant.
