It is scary that people are so incompetent they can't even imagine taking an angle grinder and giving the knife a sharp tip in under 1 minutes. Your average radically lefty sheep can't even fathom making something with their bare hands or working metal.

Give me an angle grinder with a cutting wheel and I will make all of these knifes have a sharp tip by cutting on the red lines in a matter of seconds.

Thousands of foreign young men of fighting age are being imported into England and Ireland and placed in camps where they are paid, fed and watered. This is a very expensive operation. The politicians who do this strange thing are not the masterminds; they are simply carrying out the agenda of the UN which also operates a distinctly anti-white migration policy. I can think of only one logical reason as to why this perverse and unprecedented action is taking place. Perhaps I have reached the wrong conclusion. Could someone put my mind at rest by providing an alternative explanation for the thousands of foreign young men of fighting age housed in newly built barracks all across our countries?

How much do you want to bet that someone striking someone in the eye with full force wouldn't still piece into their brain even with that square tip? Plus even if these can't stab, they can still cut. So these are just as effective at slicing someone's throat.

More likely other things being used as weapons. Like sturdy branches. Pipes. Pipe fittings attached to the end of a sturdy branch.
Hatchet. Screwdrivers make pretty decent stiletto daggers.
Take your pick really. Sharpen up a fucking metal ruler if you really want. Break a window, duct tape a handle to it. That might be a more serious threat than a proper knife or machete too. As it has a chance of shards breaking off inside you when stabbed.
But no. We need to blunt all knives and tie everyone's hands behind their back at all times to prevent people who couldn't give two sodding fucks about the law in the first place from breaking the law that they already broke ten minutes ago and are probably going to break 10 minutes from now too.

I'm on the side of "if nothing exists, man will make something" in this arguement as a show of absurdity to the thought you can ban anything.
Furthermore. Assuming you can into the base chemical components, you can make your own pipe shotgun and ammo pretty easy. gunpowder components are easily sourceable. The primer is a bit more difficult. But still doable with a bit of clever shed chemistry (shout out to Tom). Paper cartridge, and away ya go.
If you want to up the crafting skill required, but reduce the chemistry, drill a hole to turn your pipe shotgun from a slide and bang unit, into a single pipe touch unit. Add wooden stock for 1500s authenticity. Congrats. You now have a hand cannon. From here, if you want to get fancy, you can do some clockwork lockwork and into flintlock and keep the annoying match issue out of the question.
And after all this ranting... I wonder how hard it would be to use a bic lighter as an ignition source for a powder charge in a janky homebrew setup.....

Carbon steel makes a better blade. Stainless isn't a better blade material, it is lower maintenance material. Carbon steels are harder and tougher and will make the best knife, they are simply vulnerable to rust so they require a tiny bit of care.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIhGCRIQnCA

Now. Assuming you're not in freedomland, but in 1984 aka United Kingdom. They just banned hardware stores because they fear you can make weapons. All weapons already banned because UK is full of retards.
They'd have to ban rocks and trees too. Because that's the next weapon in line.
Those that could find a proper pipe. As explained in the post above, could very easily into a ye olde hand cannon.
But why? When you can just sharpen a stick and jab a billy.
The only reason the Luty is worth anything, along with a grease gun or any other blowback chunk of steel with a spring inside a pipe setup, is that the ammo is readily available.

>But with that said. Look at US gun rights 30 years ago vs today.
>Your cake is slowly being eroded,

The assault weapons ban was in effect 30 years ago 1994-2004. It expired in 2004. About half the states now allow concealed carry without a permit, the 2nd amendment is your permit. Our gun rights are constantly under attack from the left but they haven't actually managed to pass anything meaningful.

It was Reagan in the 1980s who passed the biggest gun control in recent history. That is why civilians can't buy a new fully automatic weapon anymore, it must be made before 1986. You used to be able to acquire the permits and buy a new one until 1986.

Trump banned bump stocks (overturned in court). Republicans let their guard down and don't even hold their own to the same standards they hold the Democrats. Most of what Biden tried to bna (pistol braces, forced reset triggers) has been overturned.

What about a tank? Artillery? According to Jefferson you should be able to have any weapon a potential adversary could have.
So why can't US citizens have Davey Crockets?

Every free man has a right to defend himself. Some mother fucker out there who doesn't give a fuck about rules is going to have it, so why the fuck would you be restricted?

Yes, as an American I can buy a Maxim if I go through the proper paperwork. It is a full auto made prior to 1986. Cost will be the real prohibiting factor considering they are all collectors items. What I can't buy is a new full auto made in 2025.

Yes, you can also own functional tanks, cannons etc. Each explosive tank shell would require registration as a destructive device and it's own paperwork. But cannons and tanks that fire inert solid projectiles are easily owned by civilians.

You have to maintain that paperwork and those tax stamps which all costs money and time. To which most who have them get rid of them because it's not worth it for something you can't realistically use at the range.
I looked it up, you have to do the same (or more for destructive devices, don't really know) and get pre approved from uncle sam for it.
Jefferson, when asked, responded with "the fuck? Why you askin' bro? Of course you can have cannons".
I'm fully aware I don't know the minutia, but neither do you.
