I passed no judgement on whether or not I agree with the prohibition of alcohol, or whether I agree with Temperance movement. I am well aware of the evils of alcohol. The point was many women were swept up in a social justice movement and pulled along the whole nation into such a zeal they were able to pass an amendment (which in the end was a mess).
