fortune
My PC just broke down while playing a game on Steam and listening to music. Wont turn back on at all. No lights from the motherboard or power supply. Nothing. And im just 2 days into my weeks paid vacation from work. Why does god hate me. Why.

$300 for a new PSU and you’re good to go. Stop crying and do something about it

Sounds like your power supply died. Remember to save your harddrive. A USB to Sata adapter is your friend.

i wish i had more words to go and console you but the only thing i can tell you is that you'll find other gaming hardware and other ways to consume media on your pc which you still need to pay for if you want to be able to play on your pc

You can just jumpstart your PSU to find out if your power supply is faulty..

Turn of the power and disconnect EVERYTHING and try to connect one computer fan directly to your PSU

Idk short circuit two pins i think if it was on a 24pin the 16th and the uhhhhhhh 5th or some shit (google it) and turn on the power.

If the fan or PSU fan (differs per model for some fucking reason) turns on and remains on then it is probably not your PSU.
