Good man. Ive been thinking of getting a car to build. I got a bmw rn and it's tuned with a bm3, downpipes, exhaust, intercooler etc etc. Making about 400whp and 480 torque. Just upgraded the clutch cause after a year the torque destroyed mine lol. I heard with evos anything north of 500 and the trannies blow. How true is that?

One of the reasons I got my car was the ample legroom and ease of entry (back is all fucked up). When I open the door the seat moves back and down and then after i get in automoves into my set position. Only issue I have is when some back spasms are particularly bad and I have to rotate my head to the door openening corner, but it has a handle up top to help.
I'm only 6' though, someone with a similar back issue that was 6'4" or taller might rightfully fuck off dealing with this.

I drove a Mustang for 15 years and towards the end my back was all fucked up for unrelated reasons and I decided 'nope, time for a big modern luxury boat'. Reasonably sure a 6'5" wouldn't even fit inside unless it was a convertible.
Funny thing is, back in college i was driving to some random place and my tall/fat friend and his morbidly obese (+400 lb) friend were coming with. Tall/fat called shotgun so mobesefag had to somehow get into the back seat of a Mustang. I don't even remember how he got in, other than it took 20 minutes. He then took up the ENTIRE backseats. After we went to the place it was time to return and tall/fat called shotgun again. Mobesefag had to get in the backseat again.
I had to replace the rear suspension within a year...

The original ford paint kinda sucks. Mine started peeling like this too. I got it repainted cause of it. There's potential there Especially if its the 2v v8. I think IO did fuck myself with the drag slicks cause i could never drive it if it was sunny and bone dry outside lol. You know these things dont have abs or traction control and witht he mods it was just a fucking deathtrap. I think all fords from this time had this paint issue. Ive seen more than a few with it. I did run into the paint issues (repainted sections a few times and need to redo probably everything now...), but that image is after an ice storm, so it isn't the paint issues, just the ice reflecting light.
Mine had ABS, but it was laughably rubish. I rememeber one particularly icy/snowy day on the way to work when all i had to do was get up the final big hill. I floored the gas best i could while maintaining control on the downward side, planning to floor it all the way up or die. As i got to the upward side i became stuck behind some 4wd faggot going 1 mph. After losing momentum stuck behind i decided to floor it and hope the faggot started moving or when i hit him he would start moving. Luckily it worked out, but another 10 meters on that hill behind slowfag and i was going right back down.
