How does one get a girlfriend in their late 20s/early 30s?
I'm 29, I've been single for about 10 years, and haven't had any physical contact with a woman in at least 6 (might be 7 I've lost count).
I've grown very lonely over the past decade but I've recently realized that I don't actually know how to pick up a girl.
Even on the rare occasions when I have the courage to say something to a woman, I quickly realize that if she actually said yes I wouldn't even know what to do, especially if it turned sexual; it's just been too long.

Just go to bars and talk to people. But, at first you have to go To talk. If you go to try and bring a girl home, you will be a nervous mess. You might make out with someone, cop a feel.

Get a nice cologne smell and a decent wardrobe. There are a lot of youtube channels for each that will help. There are also youtube channels for how to talk to girls. Stay away from pick up artist con artists.

If you focus on the final goal, you will never get there.

Literally just go get a job at a place with a large staff and high turnover.

yeah that's what keeps me from going. I've gone a few times, ordered a drink, chatted up people nearby and most the time just left feeling empty, like these were just shallow people looking to escape their lives somehow. The guys mostly cockblocking any non-regulars from talking long with any attractive girl and the girls mainly in groups of their own. The only way I see it enjoyable is if I'm the one giving out drugs or something and having girls come over to pregame or whatever at my place before going out etc. Still I'd imagine feeling empty from that too after the novelty wears off and probably enjoying myself less than staying at home or meeting up some friends for tennis or some co-op video game.

Yeah, that's true. I was thinking just cycling between a few grocery stores and talking to the staff instead, like asking how their day's been etc when paying and asking nearby girls while I'm getting food what they think of x ingredient etc. Maybe even going to restaurants/coffee shops and slipping my number after leaving a nice tip to the waitress/barista if we have a good chat.

yeah, I'm pretty fit low bodyfat just working out at home 3x week, but I just don't enjoy going out. I don't really like most people. I just like looking good/healthy for my own sake. I barely drive, so I only have a paid off 2015 Kia. I could upgrade to a bmw etc but seems not worth it.

I was in the same boat, then my friends started getting married. I broke a 5-6 year dry spell and the hardest part was drinking casually for a few hours while staying mostly sober. It was a shit year because I had 5 weddings, but I scored 3 times. They weren’t all winners and none became girlfriends, but it went a long way to restore my confidence, which indirectly lead to me chatting up a girl at the grocery store of all places.
