Good afternoon /b/.<3

I just finished the last episode of Star Trek: Voyager. For the past couple of months I've been watching serveral episodes almost every day. 7 seasons worth has finally come to its end.

You could have been reading a good book instead of watching slop.
What a waste of time.

I have a nerd convention-tier question. If They had been stranded in the Delta Quadrant, Checkotay and Seven would have gottne married, but they got home. Later in Picard, we see Seven-of-Nine still a bachelorette. So they obviously broke up. Do you think it was because back in the Alpha Quadrant Chekotay had more options, or was it because Seven had more options?

I'd imagine it was due to poor writing and general oversight.

You could also be living a good life instead of hanging out on /b/. You made no point. Voyager is still my favorite Star Trek Series to date, including against Picard.

I wouldn't say that. Keeping Jeri Ryan's character single is clearly a smart move in Picard. The fact it was never addressed severs to not draw attention on such a detail too.

The series finale sucked.

Jeri ryan is not attractive. The entire internet is trying to gaslight me and I won't let it.

TNG>VOY/DS9>whatever other unwatchable shittrek exists.

More power to you. I've read my share of books in my life, but I've always been more partial to the theatrical and performance arts than the literary, ironic as that may seem.

The series finale was an abrupt end without any prior buildup, I'll definitely give you that, but it was a solid and satisfying ending to an otherwise potentially endless journey.

I get not everybody likes StarTrek, but that was spoken like someone who barely watched any of them, let alone understood the franchise.

We all know why the industry doesn't often put up the investments and efforts to make a truly great modern Star Trek series though.

I didn't bother to watch Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. It was pure faggotry before it went into syndication.

I know a lot of /b/ees don't like Star Trek, but how can some of you not? The underlying representation(s) portrayed by the franchise are far more inclusive and far reaching in practical fashion than any other franchise out there. We could only be so lucky for humanity to achieve a fraction of the progressivenesses.

If you're a shrimp-dicked loser, you still had access to holidecks where you could fuck any kind of freaky bitch any way you wanted or just play near full-dive vidya games.

That's not my thing, but the point stands that the franchise imagines an openly inclusive paradigm where everyone could have a place in society without being relegated to a mongolian basket weaving anime site.

Love a Star Trek threat! Don't understand the brackets... You identifying yourselves?

I've been a trekkie most my life, convinced my (gay) bf to watch it; he finished TNG with me, and is now watching DS9 (With me again). He doesn't really watch TV alone (TikTok brainrot), but today i woke up later than him and discovered him watching DS9 without me in bed next to me. We're all gonna make it /b/ros.

Team Garak here, he loves Quark (I'm so fuckin in love)

Nice, DS9 is awesome! as for voyager...

Most people are right. It sucks, as TV, as Star Trek, as many things. But....

I just love the premise so much, Building the Delta Flyer is literally my dream type of Star Trek TV. So i secretly love voyager.

I think if you jusy grab 1 concept you love and get that from voyager, you might endure the horrible episodes and do get to enjoy the benefits;

A solo ship has alot of potential for character growth (7 of 9 Be 7 of MINEEEE)
