When you look at a man's hands, you can see his enitre life in them. I refuse to have rough, unclean, dirt crusted, calloused and/or scarred hands like the generations who came before me. They worked hard, some gave their lives... so I wouldn't fucking have to.

It's a matter of honoring those who came before... and to be better. To raised the expectations and standards of society, but furthermore... to hold society accountable for their labors, their toils, those sacrifices.

Society doesn't owe me anything personally, but that doesn't mean the world isn't in debt nor owes something more. Perhaps it owes more to itself in a certain regard.

Once there was a dynasty under attack. It's armies were too small to defend itself against the enemy's vast army. So the empror sent out an envoy to their neighboring nation to ask its wise emperor for help.

The wise emperor agreed to assist their allied neighbor and sent the envoy home with his 5 generals.

Upon returning home, the besieged emperor, seeing only these 5 warirors was upset and sent the envoy back with another message. "I have asked for your help to defend my nation against a vast army. Yet you sent me only these 5 warriors?"

The wise emperor replied in a letter for the envoy to take back to his neighbor. "Yes, I have agreed to help you fight against vast armies. So I have sent you these 5 Dragons."
