It's kind of a long one. And her getting shit canned was a long time coming. Overall, she was good at her job, but there was a lot of toxic negative shit that she also brought to the table. Big ego, manufactures conflict wherever she goes, etc. The final straw was her basically instigating a confrontation with me at work, and recording it, so she could go to corporate and claim that I made her feel unsafe. It was a case of the boy who cried wolf though, since she had made accusations against everyone in the company at this point, so they saw right through it and fired her. Naturally, she blamed me.
It was a real hoot, the day she was fired. One of the owners made a brief announcement in the morning meeting that she was no longer employed at the company, and immediately afterwards, the mood was like, weirdly positive? We've had a few layoffs earlier this year, and that sort of thing kind of puts everyone on edge. But when she was let go, it was like, everyone just understood. It was like an oppressive spiteful black cloud was lifted, and everyone could breathe again. She really fucked up the culture of that place, almost everyone has expressed to some degree that they're far happier that she's gone.
I don't really think about her at all anymore, which I guess should be sad? Idk. She had a lot of positive qualities, but she ultimately couldn't face the worst traits of hers head on and grow, no matter how much I tip toed and tried to raise the issue(s) in a compassionate and respectful manner. I'm glad she's out of my life. She's a black hole person. A waste of my love.
