Having a good amount of fun w/ Silksong so far, I think it's about equal, though I will say having a protagonist that actually converses with NPCs rather than being talked at is a nice change.

Vivy has started fairly intriguing, has a nice hook in the 'future AI war' thing and sounds like it might have a unique structure if it starts jumping around chronologically a bit like I think it will.

but i argue that its good for the dog its good for the future dogs you can tell who is whos parent so you dont acidentaly make incest babies and such and such and and somebody is gonna be responsible for the dog later on if someone treats it badly unless its an extremely shady kennel

but yeh the person must go trough many hoops to get an unregistered dog and i feel like its alot more better to just register dog than u know be a shady dog breeder cause registering dog cost only about 40 bucks which is pennies compared to dog upkeep costs and initial buy cost

I think dogs don't enjoy being alone. When i was babysitting a pupper for my friend the dog was anxious at first but refused to sleep anywhere other than in the same room as me.
