My mom called me to watch a movei with her. I already think horror is the stupidest genre that get serious production, but for the love of gawd, horror movies centered around a white family is fucking the worst.

Horror comedy is great. Tucker & Dale VS. Evil was one of my favorites. The Blackening. The Scary Movie series. that shit was fun, because it's suppossed to be retarded low brow dull witted comedy. Actually horror movies... are just fucking retarded.

Most of you kids are probably too young to remember The Relic. It was hyped as the scariest movie of all time; that people were dying and having heart attacks watching it. I watched it... and even back then.... it was the most retarded fucking shit ever.

Mind you, I liked Tales from the Crypt Keeper, some of the Twilight Zone episodes. There was one that I remember that fucke dme up as a kid. It was the one about the college kids swiming on a lack with a giant clam in it. I especially remember the last scenes. They were stranded on a pallet on the lake. last boy last girl.they fall asleep. Dude lays girl down on the cracks and starts molesting her in her sleep, and essentially sacrificed her to try and get away.

The part when she woke up and turned her head from the cracks with that black shit grabbing onto her. That was fucking great. Or the part where it pulled his buddy through the pallet making him do the splits as he got ripped through the pallet. That was brutal without being gorey.

Horror lost it's finesse a long time ago. Suspense... the art of fear... ambience... foreshadowing... all that's gone. Now it's gore, jump scares, and cheap dumb bullshit. It's easy for some of us to look back at on B movie horror (like what Elvira used to feature) and shake our heads att eh cheesy costumes, but at least back then they put alot of effort into those stupid costumes.

The last good horror I saw... was picrel. That was a long time ago.

Yeah that same correlation popped into my head. I wasn't sure if it was related either. I decided I just didn't care. If you think I'm immature, or that nothing's real, fine. What you think about me is none of my business. What you choose to believe or not believe also is of little-to-no interest to me. You're free and encrouaged to believe whatever you want. When you have good conversation points about it, I may be more interested.

Oh gawd, I hated The Thing. Everything about the move was well made, except the creature itself. My memory is hazey as fuck cause I was smoking weed at the time, but I rememeber the creature itself ruined the whole for me. Kek.
