probably yes, and given the diagnoses you've been given I doubt your problem is primarily physiological, but after 20+ years of researching this stuff, it's amazing what you can miss. If you have any physical symptoms you've concluded are caused by your "subconscious", and you haven't come across it in your own research, I suggest looking into the Autonomic Nervous System, and how problems with it can fuck with so many things it's unreal. Like I've been diagnosed with anxiety problems for almost 20 years, now I find out my actual anxiety is at normal levels, but it's ANS that causes the problem.

not sure how viable this is, but it would be pretty cool to see this transition in a clip, like the waifu is becoming real. In the simplest form it could just literally be a 5 second 2-frame vid, or one fading into the other, but you might be able to get creative with it. If the gens were really accurate to each other, you might be able to 'step' it from pure 2d waifu to pure 'real' through a few inbetween states. Could be a whole new style
