If the government took people's guns away, there would be nothing to stop that government from killing MILLIONS of people. We've seen this happen in Nazi Germany, the USSR, China, and anywhere else guns were banned.

Some people die as a result of gun violence just as some people die from knife violence and various other things, but having a safeguard against tyranny and saving MILLIONS of lives by letting government go out of control is more important.

Finally, the assassin that took him out was probably a Mossad agent working for the state of Israel. Even if guns here were completely banned, Israel would still keep assassinating our people like they did to him, JFK, the crew of the USS Liberty, and so many others.
