Oldfag here. Went to a goth club in the late 2000’s when I was in college and had such a good fucking time. A few weeks ago they were having a drag show and thought fuck it, check it out and go back there for the first time in over a decade.

Never felt so old. The music has changed, it’s just noise for the sake of noise. Music turned up full blast for like 8 people. I lasted half an hour, didn’t even see the show. So disappointing. Feel sorry for kids these days. Everything has gotten so shit.

3. Every club wants to be the next Berghain. Which means rude and discriminatory door policies to artifically create an illusion of exclusivity. (not really all that new, but has been getting alot worse)
4. Clubs arent clubs anymore, they're a dancefloor with a bar or two. Meaning nowhere to sit besides expensive VIP tables. This to get people to buy more drinks because if you're not dancing, you're standing around sipping your drink.

5. Aggresive bouncers who have a working policy of throwing people out over minor infractions to make place for more people who can pay CC.
And zoomer music is just fucking trash, not even zoomers wants to listen to it.
