There are some common sense reasons for the NRA to support not randomly getting to kill someone on your property too. Like the time i was 18, riding my bike and a heavy down pour started so I went under the first car port and sat there. The rain lasted a while and this was a little house on a little lot in a lower middle class neighborhood so I was kinda worried as the window on me probably went right into their living room. They could have come out and shot me for no reason. Or yesterday when I was out for a walk and had to pee bad all of a sudden and I was far from my car , place or a y bathroom. I tried to make it to the nearest bathroom I knew of but I can across and overgrown dark house and peed back by their porch and windows so the cats wouldn't see me. They could have stuck q gun at me and offed me. Can go on but point is
NRA and their children can get killed for no good reason too, so requiring a good reason to kill someone on your property is good common sense for the NRA too
As for good reason to kill someone we give you defending yourself or others from death or serious bodily harm in every situation in every state, blue or red
But if the robber INSIDE your home isn't putting you or your family in fear or death or serious bodily harm then just hold him at gun point unless police arrive to take him to prison, shoot him in the knee cap or let him leave with whatever he stole
Well what about that gray area, where I kill him but I have a somewhat good reason like he's twice my size, right up on me, might be able to kill me with one punch. Or I was reasonable in think he had a hidden knife or gun I didn't see that he might kill me with
We let a jury of your peers listen to your reason and decide if it was a good reason or not, they usually side with you
