I legitimately don't know why anyone still comes here
like before it kind of made sense. there was a little bit of a community, albeit a hectic and cancerous one. the drama was entertaining occasionally. there was a good shitpost here and there. and every once in a while, the stars would align and there'd be a good drawing made, a good interaction, or a requestnigger would get a delivery. as terrible as threads were, they still appealed to some people.
now threads are just dead. to the point where even the trolls don't bother spamming them half the time because they're spamming at nobody. the people remaining, aside from the requestniggers, come here solely to blogpost to an audience of basically no one, and in the rare scenario that it is someone, it's the exact type of person you would never want to share any information about yourself with. doxxers, stalkers, creeps, pedophiles, etc.
and then the requestniggers that still come here are just depressing. they post requests out of habit now, not because they actually expect anyone to do them. and ofc, nobody ever does them. it's so weird that they still bother to post requests because it's totally pointless, but I guess the pasta spammers still go out of their way to post a couple pastas per thread (assuming it's not just a bot, that is) so maybe old habits do die hard.
idk, it's not just these threads. this isn't to say that the squad won or something. the entirety of 4chan is just sort of on its last legs. with the amount of time it takes to post and so many people leaving after the hack + the UK blocking the site there's just nothing here anymore. the site was going downhill since before even moot left but I think the hack was like a bullet being blown into its abdomen, and now its just slowly bleeding out.
