Learn some history. Gaza was part of Egypt. It was never a country. It was captured during the six day war, along with the Sinai, when Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Iran got BTFO after FAFOing.
In subsequent years, the Sinai was given back to Egypt, but they didn't want Gaza or the crazy fuckers living there back, and gave it to Israel. In 2005 Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza and dismantled all of their settlements. Gazans immediately elected a bunch of terrorists and began conducting operations against Israel.
That reached a head with Hamas terrorists invaded Israel in 2023 and murdered over 1200 people. They showed that they're barbarians and unwilling to make peace. Israel has done nothing more than adopt their tactics.
