How does one get a girlfriend in their late 20s/early 30s?
I'm 29, I've been single for about 10 years, and haven't had any physical contact with a woman in at least 6 (might be 7 I've lost count).
I've grown very lonely over the past decade but I've recently realized that I don't actually know how to pick up a girl.
Even on the rare occasions when I have the courage to say something to a woman, I quickly realize that if she actually said yes I wouldn't even know what to do, especially if it turned sexual; it's just been too long.

I find the opposite to be true in my case. If a girl starts talking to me out in the world it is because she is interested in me. I'm tall and kind of good looking though. I also grew up when you actually just approached girls that you wanted to date. Walk up and introduce yourself, maybe tell a joke, break the ice. You get rejected? Happens, move on or shoot your shot another day with her. Social media was in its infancy and almost nonexistent. You had a blog and a geocities addy.

My money and career were the exact reasons I was given as part of my divorce. She said I was 'emotionally unavailable' and 'distant'.
