The incorrect assumption that you're making here is that the mods CAN do anything to stop him. Which they can't.
The simple fact of the matter is that the mods are using tools that were made nearly twenty years ago by moot as a joke and haven't been updated once in the entirety of the website's existence. Just last year, the site went offline for a month because it's using code from 2016. You think the mods even HAVE the ability to ban someone, temporarily or otherwise? Ban evasion is easier than ever and the internet is larger than anyone could have foreseen. A ban from 4chan is just an age check; only people under 16 actually get stopped by it.
And that's not even getting into the ego-tripping.
