Authority is by default, discrimination. It says "you are not us, you are beneath us."
Wealth disparity is another form of discrimination. The 35-40 people who own most of the country get much finer protection than the masses who slave away and own almost nothing. In a world build upon discrimination, only certain people should be at the top financially - lawyers, bankers, and doctors who keep taking your money to do anything and everything except cure you.
