I've been through a very similar experience. Same charges. First offense and a good lawyer so I didn't have to do any time. Just probation. But the registry is a bitch. All but ruined life. Worked shit construction for a few years. Living cheap in a rented trailer and saved money because I couldn't get a bank loan. Started a small landscaping business and built it up slow.
