I can give you a review on both. Neither are particularly positive, but id personally lean towards Nine Sols being "better". And thats really because its somehow safer and even more generic than Silksong, which I didnt think possible (mechanically i mean, both of them in terms of art stand out, and i guess that draws in superficial retard normies that never really cared about videogames as games anyway. but just some basic experience to emulate movies or anime.) so it messes up less because it doesnt try to do anything interesting.

It doesnt feel like "work" yet. The only game I remember feeling like truly forcing myself to play was Hades. That game is like the definition of being so mid, that it becomes bad. You mostly keep playing it, because easy too, and fundamentally a circular experience, where youre fiending for the next progression unlock.

With Nine sols. It moreso feels like a game I've played a million times already, thats slightly above the average quality of the genre its a part of. But well below the quality of the games not just in my top 10 or 15, but even my top 20. I dont even have enough games I consider good to have a top 20, so yeah.
