Never, and I mean NEVER allow a reptile to think they "dominated" you.
Fuck them. They need to know their place.
I never miss an opportunity to remind lizards and assorted reptiles that they are indeed inferior to me and that given just a whim, I might just murder them for no other reason than to watch the light dim from their reptilian eyes.
They respect that.
They walk away muttering to themselves "best not to fuck with THAT hombre..."
Yeah, keep walking, lizard breath.

Yes it was, you absolute mong.
The way Romans did slavery was about 100x more moral than the way America did it. British, Spanish, and American slavery were particularly harsh, lifetime occasions, with no chance for freedom or reprisal for mistreatment.
There's thousands of writings from the time of people acknowledging that it was a horrible, immoral practice, and that those who engaged in it happily were evil.
This isn't hard to understand, you're just willingly ignorant, like I said before.

If the Gila Monster didn't want to be victimized by the Big Bad American Man, then it should have GROWN SOME HANDS and developed firearms itself, but, sadly, it did not, thus it was no match for my Ruger Mark IV .22

Could try submitting some to the local news every once in a while, another way to get the name out if you're a business owner. Not sure the specifics of your area but my areas local news takes random stories from locals, and photos of interesting things.

They don't really domesticate easy but they do become tame really fast if you feed them.
They'll come back for more later, just get some feeder bugs from an exotic pet store. if you're Tucson region avoid Ever Evolving Exotics, owners a massive trash monkey cunt.

You mentioned the Sonoran Desert, which is what made me think of it.
The first half of that book is worth reading, and if you love the desert as I do, you will find it very satisfying to think of going to Mexico to be an apprentice to a Toltec Sorcerer.
Seriously, take a moment to read some of it - it will change your life in ways I cannot describe here effectively.

Oh i dont want to keep them as pets, i just want them to hang out when im out in the yard. They really enjoy our backyard because theres no pets to chase them here unlike all of the other neighbors. Theyre cool to watch run around in the veggie patches and sun bathe on the patio.

Sounds good bro thanks for the recommendation.
You should try looking at Peterson's Field Guides, they're a good foray into the world of identification. They're a bit older, so some names and classifications are wrong now, but if you just look them up you'll find out a lot. If you know about animals, you can pick out a person's location based on a photo of a fence lizard.

I would, but tbh, I get really bored with classifying animals.
>be me
>have friend who has discovered dozens of new species of fish
>he tries to teach me how to identify them

Still like to look at animals, tho. Just don't have much of a desire to "know" precisely what they are.

It's better if you have ADHD, because then you can diversify what you know about and it'll be less boring.
I think for you, it would be good for you to know what you're looking at so you know what it eats, and potentially you'd be able to tell what it wants. I know climate change is a tired topic on this board because like 1/3 of retards on here don't believe in it, but if you pay attention to the species you see, it becomes obvious when animals which are more sensitive to rapid changes in climate are being affected. The Sonoran Desert Tortoise is an indicator species, it's super hardy, it can survive for a very long time, yet we are seeing die-offs which appear to be unrelated to predation.
Take care of your wildlife is all I'm saying.
