Favorite airplane crash?
For me it's PSA Flight 182, the most ghoulish crash of all time.

Not sure what the screaming flying pig man refers to but I read that a seat with a person buckled into it ended up in someones living room.

Your welcome.

>>"The guy next door was literally hospitalized because he survived the plane crashing near his house as he was in the front yard mowing, but saw a human being fly down the street, prone โ€œlike Supermanโ€ flying in the air he used to say, about thirty feet above the street at impact, which was a couple blocks up. He said the man had a high-pitched scream like a pig screech, He could actually hear that amongst the concussion and explosion. The flying man ended up impacting a car a couple houses down"

I wasn't until I started watching in-depth documentries on youtube about them. Staight up nightmare fuel. I think being in a planecrash, knowing you're going to die and the gruesome aftermath is probably the worst way to go in this world.

Great photo. When another crash like this eventually happens, the amount of carnage caught in high def video from surveillance, Ring and dash cams will be incredible. It might break the internet.

I cannot remember well, but most of the passengers passed away by the time the rest of the fuselage started to climb due to O2 lacking. Watched the documentary on Discovery a few years after the crash and I got shocked about it.

For the record I'm in aviation. Worked with an old timer who worked for USAir. 737 back in the early 90s was having an issue with crashes, happened 3 times, two in crashes that killed everyone. The rudder PCU would freeze over in flight resulting a rudder hard over and dive towards the ground at very high speed. Supposedly, when they arrived at the crash many people's heads were ripped off their body from the impact.

It's probably bullshit, but I figured I'd share.

An interesting crash is Operation Babylift where the C5 cargo door opened causing rapid decompression on climb out. Severed flight cables and hydraulics. There was a bunch of newborns strapped to the cargo floor in carboard boxes. Obviously anything not secure was.. evacuated.. but then the C5 hit a rice paddy bounced in the air and hit again. Pretty brutal. Congress grounded the plane lol. To this day there are about 10 large steel pins you insert between the door frame and the fuselage because of that crash.
