OP ive wondered the same thing. I guess because there is less and less to explore in this sick sad world that humans have created.

I will say this though. Music and artwork is all we truly have left.

Americans think that education is elitist, professors are left-wing brainwashers, that 'common sense' is a form a higher knowledge and that teachers shouldn't get paid much unless they teach that the planet is 2000 years old.

The geniuses can't afford to live so they're forced to work for techbros who give them millions of dollar in exchange for their soul.

And then if any innovations threaten the oil industry, the technology gets suppressed

because money is broken and whatever new invention you make will benefit you for a short while, until the money printing oligargs decide to steal your work and the work of your costumers, so why even bother?
