How can I find my place in the world? How can I find meaning?

Well, you have to look at what you value in life. What do you want to do? Who do you want to be?
It's ok if you don't know the answers yet, but once you think you know, start working towards that goal.

Life's meaning is what we make it. For some people, the meaning of life is to make relationships, or have kids, or become wealthy. You get to decide what this life is about.
Don't live for someone else - live for yourself, and you will likely find happiness and wisdom.

Accept things. Allow people to reveal themselves. I can never have image OP because I'm ethnic in spirit and won't align with their beliefs.

I can't "work" towards something anymore. I can't chase things. All I try to do is absorb and understand.

Not saying you're wrong, it's just that the classic "make it happen" doesn't work for me anymore. But I'm glad you're here right now.

Nothing happens over night. The most important step is always the next one - not just the first.
I don't know your circumstances, but I bet you could work towards something if you wanted it.
I'm glad your* here too.

>if you wanted it.

That's part of the problem: I don't know what I want. In fact, I don't know if I really want anything in this world.

I want to get old and be happy with simple things. Then die and see if there's an afterlife

Meaning has to come from you, from within. If something doesn't resonate feelings from you then it has no meaning to you.

I have a friend who struggles with motivation IRL. I'm afraid that I don't know how to help with that.
Maybe you'll find something that motivates you, but that isn't a certainty.
I can identify with wanting to live comfortably - that's what I want to do as well.

Anecdotally, I struggled with motivation while going through school, but I found it when I was almost out of college.
The catalyst was that I was tired of feeling like shit and tired of getting mediocre grades - I knew I was better than that, and so I started pushing myself one day.
I started going to the gym and taking classes seriously.
It was difficult at first, but it get easier.

I feel like everyone feels like that at some points in their life, don't matter how old you are or anything. My best advice would be, don't worry about it so much, just keep going with your good things in life and good things will keep coming.
Hope everything goes well in your life, much lov.

I'm pretty sure most of the people who answer this question will tell you that you should pursue your passions and dreams and find something that gives you meaning.

But I think the most important thing is to try to be a good person and help others.
