IDK, probably ate a charcuterie tray straight from the refrigerator
It wasn't really my fault though. It was a new, high end restaurant and a beautiful day. We made reservations for the patio and walked around the park and then the shopping district until 3:45, which was our slotted time. I was starving from the long walk and we ordered sparkling water and rose (which came out super cold, also) and then ordered a charcuterie with edam, camembert, emmentaller, tellegio Iberico, serrano, figs, apricots, and boar sausage with "house made crustini"
The charcuterie was clearly pre-made and came straight out of the refrigerator, but I was so famished I dove in.
So yeah - eating cold charcuterie is the most American thing I ever did, and I am ashamed.
