I also have a solid grasp on the history of the site: the shutdown in 2003 or 4 that led to the .net domain moving to .org, the existence of boards like /sm/ and the lolicon board... and Boxxy in 2009.

But I wanna know from super oldfags that might be here today:

What did 4chan used to be like? Has anything changed? What has been your experience and what advice would you give to a newfag using 4chan today who doesn't understand 4chan culture? Is there anything we can do to bring back the spirit of the old web?

Been here since 2007. The site was invaded by shills in 2015 and has never been the same since. By 2017 it was almost unusable. Now everything is sandboxed AI and shills.

Obviously you're not a legit newfag, so I am only making this post to ask you to beg your masters. Please just give us our site back. You can have society, you can ruin video games and all media. Just let us have this.
