Some of you might think this is a bad thing, and that would be because you're retarded. You might think that the only way to be your truest self is through being uncompromising, but what this really results in, is you being wholly incomplete, with a completely delusional view of yourself. External perspectives are necessary for you to understand yourself. They make you more capable and resilient; allow you to appreciate a broader band of experience.
The internet is not experience. It's vicarious. It's voyeurism. You are not witnessing through it; you're not connecting to anything meaningful through it. You begin to think yourself better and more clued in than normaies but all you're actually doing is making yourself more lonesome and insufferable.
Go make friends. Get a hobby that takes you away from here, and allow yourself to be changed by the world. There is nothing Honorable or integral to anything you can experience here, in this place that shames you for even being possessed of a coherent identity - for being anything More than another voice in an anonymous cacophony free from any true consequence; free from checks against your ego.

you can survive without them, but you can't thrive without them. a lot of society's current problems stem from men not having any friends, especially older men. this lack of friends leads to a lack of empathy and disconnection from community.
