I have an older laptop and I find that when I minimize my browser that the taskbar is actually minimized. I have to right click and un-minimize it, then my browser is back on the taskbar.

I think it's a setting on your laptop that you need to adjust.

I'm not on a laptop.
my pc is older, though.
I want the taskbar to stay hidden after I minimize my browser.

Right click taskbar-Taskbar settings-Taskbar behaviors-turn off autohide
