Hi, you can try to do something similar with a phone and RGB lights and stuff. Better camera just makes photos cleaner in the end but it's not really needed for the look. Experiment and have fun and then stick to what looks the best... that was kinda my way into all of this.

It depends on the clothes, you wants colors that complement them or highlight the colors in a good way. For sci-fi look your can go with cold white with some cyan shades, kind of like something out of Cyberpunk or Tron. But StarWars are not exactly like that, many scenes have this almost dated look (especially the older films), with warm lighting... so pretty much anything goes, just match it with the clothing and any props or scene around you.
