did some things today.
went to costco. bought some tamales from an 80 year old woman who did not speak any english (and the wife couldn't speak that language either) out of the back of the car in the coleman cooler.
they were good tamales.
I did the thing where I translates the uno dos tres to my companion (mot hai ba)
it was weird. I ahve not even half speaking. 1.8th speaking two other languages than my own. and somehow I got by

I bought a lot of food today.
I bought some masa flour so i can attempt a tortilla myself. or if I wanted, a tamales. tamales seem like they are seasonal here. around 'christmas' or earlier you can always find 70 to 80 year old women in the parking lots of grocery stores selling them out of the trunk for cash, no credit.
they always have the tamale making materials for sales in the grocery stores too. like you can get dried corn husks for days.

so the lede or lead that was buried is i am buying more clear unflavored soda water to reduce my intake of the hyper-sodas
