Yes, I knew all of this going in. It was after pushing him to get some kind of independence, basic adult qualifiers like transportation, a driver's license, an income, that he got nasty and indignant with me. I decided at that point it wasn't worth the stress to try and elevate a bum out of poverty that would clearly rather be a bum, entirely dependent on the good will of others to survive. The good will of others mind you, that he had no reservations about betraying if it meant he got good sex out of it.
